two mechanics · one domain

how it works

Two things to do, no signup, no app. Tap a button, steal a throne, share with the world.

The two mechanics

1. The BAM Button

The homepage. One big square button. Tap it. Your country's count goes up. The global counter ticks. Every Monday at 00:00 UTC, weekly counts reset and the leaderboard race starts again.

The rules

  • Each tap registers your country (auto-detected from your connection, no permission prompt).
  • The leaderboard shows the top 20 countries by weekly taps. Your country's row is highlighted yellow.
  • Sensible per-visitor limits keep the leaderboard fair without getting in the way.

2. Steal the Throne

One throne. One name. Anyone can take it. When you steal it, your name (or @handle) and a short message replace whoever was there. They land in the "previous holders" list with the duration they held it.

The rules

  • Names: up to 14 characters. @ handles welcome. Auto-uppercased.
  • Messages: up to 30 characters, mixed case.
  • The throne has a brief lockout after each steal — the new holder gets a moment of glory before anyone can take it back.
  • Abuse, slurs and impersonation are filtered before they ever land.

Fair play

BAM.LI runs without logins, so we keep things honest with quiet protections behind the scenes — rate limits, anti-bot challenges and abuse filtering, all running invisibly. Real visitors never see them. Bots and farmers find a wall.
